What we collect

When you create a certificate we store what you type into the form: your pet’s name, type, breed and birthday, the parent names, your email address, and the two optional checkboxes. We also record when the certificate was created, downloaded and emailed.

Why we collect it

  • To create your certificate and let you download it again later.
  • To email the certificate to you when you ask us to.
  • To reprint the exact same certificate if you order a printed copy in the future.
  • If you ticked a box, to tell you when printed copies launch or to send occasional pet-parent updates. Every email includes a way to stop receiving them.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We use a small number of service providers to run PupPapers: a database host to store certificates, an email provider to deliver them, and a hosting provider to run the site. If printed copies launch and you order one, the print partner receives what it needs to print and ship it.

Your choices

You can ask us to send you a copy of your data or to delete it at any time by replying to any email we sent you. Deleting your data also deletes your certificate record, so we won’t be able to reprint it.

About the certificates

PupPapers certificates are keepsakes made for fun. They are not government documents and have no legal standing.
